Introduction
Depression and anxiety are real struggles that affect millions of people—including believers. Loving God and following Christ doesn’t make us immune to mental or emotional battles. In fact, Scripture is filled with examples of faithful men and women who wrestled with deep sorrow, fear, or despair. The good news is: God cares about your mental and emotional health, and His Word offers comfort, hope, and practical guidance.
1. Acknowledge the Struggle Without Shame
Too often, Christians feel guilty for experiencing depression or anxiety, as if it reflects weak faith. But the Bible shows us otherwise:

Depression and anxiety may not disappear overnight, but God’s promises remain constant:
