Be a Blessing
Be a Blessing
“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.” – Genesis 12:2 (NIV)
Prayer Focus: Ask God to use your prosperity to bless others. Pray to be a vessel of hope and provision.
God’s plan for your life is not just about receiving blessings; it’s about becoming a vessel of blessing to others. In Genesis 12:2, God promises Abraham that He will bless him, but the purpose of that blessing is to make him a blessing. This same principle applies to us today—God blesses us so that we can pour out those blessings to others.
When God blesses you, He equips you not only for your own growth and success but also to impact others in His name. Being a blessing means using your resources, influence, and gifts to help others thrive. Whether through your time, finances, encouragement, or support, being a blessing reflects God’s heart for His people.
To truly live out your calling, embrace the cycle of blessing—receive God’s blessings, and then turn them into acts of kindness, generosity, and love toward others. In doing so, you reflect the love and grace that God has shown to you, and you become a living testimony of His Kingdom.
Reflect today:
In what ways can I be a blessing to others today, whether in my family, community, or workplace?
How can I shift my perspective to see every opportunity as a chance to bless those around me?
Kingdom Truth: You are blessed to be a blessing. As God pours into you, let it flow out to others, expanding His Kingdom on earth.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings in my life. I know that You bless me not only for my benefit but to be a blessing to others. Help me to see the opportunities to serve, give, and encourage those around me. May my life reflect Your generosity and love, and may I always be a channel of Your blessings to the world. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Affirmation

My life is a vessel of hope, peace, and kindness.
Wednesday of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time (Year 1)
Altar Call: A Call to Experience God’s Love Personally.
Friend, as you’ve always heard about love in action — the kind of love that gives, serves, and forgives — maybe something stirred in your heart. Maybe you’ve longed for that kind of love in your life: a love that doesn’t fail, doesn’t abandon, and doesn’t ask you to earn it. I want you to know today — that love is real, and it’s found in Jesus Christ.
In a world that often feels cold, selfish, and empty, God offers you something different — Himself. He sent His Son, Jesus, not to judge you, but to rescue you. Not because you’re perfect, but because you’re loved. And He proved it by dying for your sins and rising again, so you could have new life, peace, and eternal hope.
You don’t need to fix yourself first. You don’t need to earn His love. You just need to say yes.
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
Today, Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart. He’s offering you more than religion — He’s offering a relationship. A new beginning. A clean slate. A chance to not only receive His love, but to become someone who lives it and reflects it in this world.
If you're ready to make that decision — to invite Jesus into your life — pray this simple prayer with sincerity:
Salvation Prayer
“Lord Jesus,
I acknowledge that I need You.
I have sinned, and I can’t save myself.
But I believe You died for me and rose again.
Today, I open my heart and ask You to come in.
Forgive me, change me, and make me new.
From this day forward, I choose to follow You.
Thank You for loving me first.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of God! Heaven rejoices over your decision, and so do we. Look for a Believing Church around you to join. Thank you
