Courage to Pursue Purpose
Courage to Pursue Purpose
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Prayer Focus: Ask God for boldness to take steps of faith, even when the path isn’t fully clear.
Pursuing your God-given purpose requires courage—not just once, but daily.
Purpose will stretch you. It will lead you into places where your comfort zone ends and your faith must rise. Like Joshua standing at the edge of the Promised Land, you may feel the weight of what’s ahead—uncertainty, opposition, responsibility—but God’s message is clear: Be strong. Be courageous. I am with you.
Fear will whisper that you're not qualified, that you're too late, or that you might fail. But purpose isn’t about perfection—it’s about obedience. God equips those He calls. Your courage doesn't come from self-confidence; it comes from God-confidence—knowing that He goes before you, stands beside you, and walks with you.
Reflect today:
What has fear or doubt kept you from pursuing?
Where is God calling you to be bold?
Kingdom Truth: God will never call you to a purpose He won’t empower you to fulfill.
Prayer:
Father, I thank You for the purpose You’ve placed on my life. When fear tries to hold me back, remind me that You are with me. Fill me with supernatural courage to pursue what You’ve called me to, even when it feels bigger than me. I trust Your presence, Your power, and Your promises. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Altar Call: A Call to Experience God’s Love Personally.
Friend, as you’ve always heard about love in action — the kind of love that gives, serves, and forgives — maybe something stirred in your heart. Maybe you’ve longed for that kind of love in your life: a love that doesn’t fail, doesn’t abandon, and doesn’t ask you to earn it. I want you to know today — that love is real, and it’s found in Jesus Christ.
In a world that often feels cold, selfish, and empty, God offers you something different — Himself. He sent His Son, Jesus, not to judge you, but to rescue you. Not because you’re perfect, but because you’re loved. And He proved it by dying for your sins and rising again, so you could have new life, peace, and eternal hope.
You don’t need to fix yourself first. You don’t need to earn His love. You just need to say yes.
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
Today, Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart. He’s offering you more than religion — He’s offering a relationship. A new beginning. A clean slate. A chance to not only receive His love, but to become someone who lives it and reflects it in this world.
If you're ready to make that decision — to invite Jesus into your life — pray this simple prayer with sincerity:
Salvation Prayer
“Lord Jesus,
I acknowledge that I need You.
I have sinned, and I can’t save myself.
But I believe You died for me and rose again.
Today, I open my heart and ask You to come in.
Forgive me, change me, and make me new.
From this day forward, I choose to follow You.
Thank You for loving me first.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of God! Heaven rejoices over your decision, and so do we. Look for a Believing Church around you to join. Thank you
